Summertime and the Living is Easy..

Summertime {1934) by George Gershwin

Composed in 1934 by George Gershwin as an aria for the opera Porgy and Bess, it first became a hit when sung by Billie Holiday in 1936. It has been recorded thousands of times since then.

This weekend we in the States kick-off the unofficial start of summer with barbeques and picnics, a 3-day weekend,, family get-togethers. Beaches and parks will be packed. People are heading out to celebrate a freedom missed the past year.

Do what makes you happy! It has been a long “Year”.

I am going to kick back, relax and enjoy some beautiful summertime weather, put my toes in the sand and maybe a cold beer in my hand because, It’s Summertime and the Living is Easy.
