In August of 2021 I posted It’s Summertime and We Are Talking Peaches. Let’s revisit that post today.

The spring of 2023 was devastating for the peach crop in the Peach State, Georgia. Somewhere between 70% and 90% of their crop was lost due to a late winter frost. Fortunately, the State that grows more peaches, and tastier peaches, South Carolina, did not suffer the same fate. They are just becoming available and I picked some up at the Farmer’s Market this past weekend.

In 2021, I tried twice to make the Southern ladies Easy Peach Cobbler, both times a disaster. I tried again in 2023 — third times a charm, as they say! It was a hit!
