The Great Gatsby was published in 1925. Set in New York’s Jazz Age it tells the story of a young, mysterious millionaire and his pursuit of a beautiful and wealthy young woman who he loved in his youth. Gatsy has shady business connections and is later revealed to be a bootlegger.
