Invisible

Invisible -Post of the Day

In the world of entertainment, James Stewart was one of the great actors. Starring in numerous movies from the 1930’s Stewart starred in western’s (The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance), Christmas shows (It’s A Wonderful Life), Mystery (Rear Window), Romance (The Philadelphia Story) and Comedy movies (Harvey).

Harvey was a very tall, white rabbit, the imaginary friend of Elwood P, Dowd (James Stewart), an eccentric drunk. Harvey was mischievous and invisible to everyone except Dowd. The combination leads to some very hilarious episodes as Dowd’s sister and niece attempt to have Dowd committed to a sanatorium.

If you have not seen this and enjoy old-time movies, I recommend it and other’s with Stewart.

The movie was based on a Mary Chase play of the same name.
