Tremor Tidbits on Tuesday -1 Updated

Essential tremor is a neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs or trunk. It is often confused with Parkinson’s disease although essential tremor is eight times more common, affecting an estimated 10 million Americans and millions more worldwide.

I was diagnosed with Essential Tremors (ET) over 25 years. There is no cure, but there are ways to treat the condition. I will be using my blog to talk about my life with ET – experiences, struggles, successes, failures.

Follow my blog and watch for Tuesday Tremors where I will be writing about ET.

If you have ET, know someone who does, or have questions, I would like to hear from you, please comment.

More information can also be found at the International ET Foundation website https://essentialtremor.org
