Spring is over it seems and summer is here. Very warm, sunny days and rain. We had our first tropical storm this week. They predict a very active season.

My plants and flowers are thriving. The birds are very happy with my choice of seed and suet.

• A new bleeding heart planted this year as a bare root.
• A trio of Rieger Begonias and a Tiawan Red Ixora from the garden store.
• Hosta and marigolds with a painted golf ball.
• Sun Parasol Pink Mandevilla to climb a log.
• A herb garden started until the windows.
