May we think of freedom not as the right to do as we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right.
Yesterday I wrote about society and the rules by which the members of the society agree to live.
Adherence by all to those rules of the society is critical.
It is For Our Good country, freedom, environment, health and happiness!

So true! We need laws — fair laws or rules — and we all need to be committed to following them, if we want to have a peaceful society free of crime.

I was thinking of our rules as we agree to treat everyone with compassion and respect, and not saying “I’m going to do what I want because we’re all going to die anyway.” Laws exist to prevent people from killing another person. Yes, everyone needs to commit to both or the society fails. Thanks for your comment.
