I sit here watching the sky come awake. It was black when I sat down. Only the street lights shown through the trees. Way to early to be awake for a Saturday.

But the sky is brightening, now to a grayish blue. The sun will be coming along. It is to be another hot day. A heat advisory is posted so inside is where I will try to stay.

We are prepping for Hurricane Isaias. Projections have it passing over or near Monday. We don’t know quite what to expect; it is our first experience here on the coast.
