Beneath a satin soft blanket of lavender and lace She sleeps - Peaceful The sweet floral fragrance Comforts her
Many years have passed History shows its age In her snow white hair And pale wrinkled skin
Family they built Joy's they shared Challenges they faced Just fading memories now
He sits by her bedside Tells her a story A camping trip they took Games they played Friends long departed A faint smile on her lips Maybe she remembers
Cherishing these moments He knows Soon to be gone

Our local garden centre has remained open during lockdown so I think I may be paying a visit there this week.

Thank you. Love the color and the scent and it is such a pretty plant in bloom as well, so delicate.
