If you don’t start it is unlikely you will ever finish.
Years ago I made a New Year’s resolution to never diet. Every time ended in weight gain. After 3 weeks on a 5/2 diet I got on the scale this morning and weighed only 1 lb. less than when I started. Since the first weekend was a disaster, we were out of town visiting and partying with friends. I probably undid any benefit I got from the diet. So week 2 was catch-up. This week, week 3, is still in process so I won’t get too discouraged.
If you don’t commit, it is also unlikely you will ever finish.
These are my motivational thoughts as I continue my quest to loose weight, get stronger and healthier thru diet and exercise.
What is a 5:2 Diet?Eat responsibly 5 days a week, and maintain a limited fast, no more than 500 calories for women, 2 non-consecutive days per week. Read more on The Beginner’s Guide to the 5:2 Diet.
- A diet shouldn’t be something you start and stop, it is a lifestyle change.
- Diet combined with exercise is important.
- Due to some health issues, I need to do this.
- I can do this!
You can do it! 😊
