Opportunities? Your Choice

We face magnificent opportunities throughout our lives each of which is disguised as an impossible situation.

Unknown

I found this amongst my mother’s papers while cleaning out her house. This was Mom, strong, determined, decisive and nurturing.

She married at 18, had her first child at 19 and second (me) at 20. We didn’t have much, but always had food on the table and a roof over our heads. We attended church and lived by Christain values.

Mom is still with us at 92, she has dementia sadly. She has had a difficult life but always seemed to take advantage of any situation.

God Bless, her!!
