Madeleine Albright, Czech-born American public official, served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (1993–97) and was the first female United States Secretary of State in U.S. history from 1997 to 2001.
Her words have never in my lifetime felt more relevant and urgent than now. As people struggle through these trying times the U.S. needs leaders.
