Ha ha…great photo. It is a difficult decision for many parents, especially parents of younger children. My daughter is in high school and they are returning under an “adapted learning” model, meaning she will go to school 50% of the time but only for one class, half the day. The other half of her “in school” day will be live, synchronous at-home learning. On her “not in school” days, she will do course work.
A district close by is doing 1 day a week in school and 4 days elearning and students are divided over 5 days. I can’t imagine trying to teach that way.
It’s going to be very difficult. Elementary schools in our area are returning full-time to school. We have a low number of cases but it’s hard to tell if it’s the right call. Time will tell. I can’t see how young children will manage the physical distancing.
I agree. Kids need interaction with other kids and adults. Most parents are able to teach. Safety especially in high cass states is the issue. Thanks for commenting.

Yes. And I don’t know how they can enforce mask wearing when parents don’t wear one, although I think more and more people are accepting it.
