How To Make Ham Salad
In a food pocessor, grind ham until ground fine. Mix in mayonnaise and pickle relish. Mix in any extras that you prefer. Yes, it is that easy! If you don’t have a food processor, just finely chop the ham, that will be just as good.
Here is a Recipe:
- 3 cups ground cooked ham
- 2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
- 4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped onion
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
Don’t be afraid to experiment with this. Use dill pickles, omit the eggs, use dijon mustard, add a bit of pickle juice for a different consistency. There are no hard and fast rules for this dish.
