It has been a busy time here in Miss Judy’s garden. Yet there is more planned.
Our local high school plant sale starts on April 12th. Of course I must go by (or buy).
What is growing in your garden? I hope you enjoy these glimpses of Spring in the Carolinas.
I planted some garlic last fall that is starting to grow. I also have snowdrops and daffodils. Indoors, I have started geraniums, 3 varieties of tomato, and sweet peppers.

You have been busy. How wonderful it will be to have fresh garlic, tomatoes and peppers. Do grow in pots or in the ground?

A combination of the two. The garlic is growing in the ground. The tomatoes and peppers will be in pots on the deck where they will get more sun.

A tip from my Friday 4 this week – put 1 to 2 spoons gulls of epsom salts in your tomato and pepper pots. It’s give them some much needed magnesium and prevents root rot.

That’s a great tip. I’ll give it a try. Thanks.
