This past week I was visited by Patricia Furstenberg. Patricia is a “writer of contemporary books and stories where history meets fiction and dogs.”* She also writes a blog at Alluring Creations where she posts interesting, informative and humorous stories of her travels and adventures.
I am quite intrigue with the behavior of monkeys. They seem so human. Patricia’s post on May 29 titled Why a Traveler Better be Watchful Near Apes got my attention. She wrote about visiting the land of the apes on the coast of the Indian Ocean and from there she crafted a clever fable, The Ape and the Travelers.
