Today’s post and recipe come to you from Mollie at Frugal Hausfrau.
Mollie makes my mouth water with her fabulous recipes; and her posts furnish lots of excellent cooking and time/money saving tips. Yesterday when she posted a recipe for Simple Roasted Onions it sounded, and looked, so appetizing, I knew I had to try it.
I started planning dinner. Here’s what I made:
- Chuncky Applesauce: Homemade
- Roasted Onion: In white wine
- Balsamic Roasted Pork Tenderloin
Earlier this summer I wrote about an Arugula and Apple Salad with Pork Medallions recipe I made. Using the dressing from that recipe, I marinated last night’s pork tenderloin dinner last night. You can find my post under “Food & Beverages” and the recipe on my Pinterest page.
Cleaning Tip
If you are looking at these baking dishes and thinking, “Boy I’m glad I don’t have to wash those.” you probably aren’t alone.
Never fear – I have the solution: BAKING SODA.
Add a hand full of baking soda to the pan and fill with hot water. Let it soak (might take awhile) and it will clean right off.
Please stop over and see what Mollie is cooking up this week and tell her Miss Judy sent you.
Let me know if you try my cleaning tip or if you already use it.
Those look delicious. And I agree with the baking soda tip. I use it to scrub my sink and all kinds of things. It works like a charm.

Thanks Michelle! Yes, on the sink too. I buy it in a bag.
