Disappearing Sense and Sensibility

If you spend any amount of time and energy following today’s politics, you have to wonder if all sense and sensibility is about it <a href="http://DisappearDisappear. On a show this morning an elected official (Presumably Republican) was saying “we need a special council to investigate the special council to investigate the assistant attorney general.” I hope that made sense to someone because he lost me on who was investigating whom.

I do have to admit I spend far too much time watching this nonsense. It is embarrassing. This is how division across our country is being spread. It is a cancer that needs to disappear.

There is good news though. There are still good people who won’t be dragged down into the muck. And just when you least expect it they could popup in your orbit.

I was reminded of this a few weeks ago when I got a flat tire on a busy street downtown. I pulled into the parking lot at the convention center and a man pulled in behind me and changed my tire. He would no accept any payment, his only request was for me to thank a serviceman for his service. So, to all the service men and women out there, “Thank you for your service.”
