Watching sunrise in Savannah, Georgia. Cargo ships take to the seas.
Bud and I went down to Savannah, Georgia for a couple of days. I took these pictures from inside our hotel room (please excuse the quality). We had a front row seat to watch the sunrise and to see the cargo ships come and go.

If you have never seen these ships, they are ENORMOUS!! The containers packed on the ships are the same seen on tractor-trailer trucks on the highway. We roughly calculated there can be thousands of containers per ship.
The two towers to the left are the Westin Hotel and Savannah Convention Center – for perspective.
Of course there is so much more to Savannah than it being one of the largest shipping ports in the world, so I will save that for another post.
Looks beautiful. I have never visited Savannah but I hear it’s lovely. Thanks for sharing.
