Warren Buffett offered this advice to a teenager’s question back in 2004. It still applies today and is excellent advice for everyone.

This is so true. We really do mirror the people around us. If you’re surrounded by negativity, you will become negative. On the other hand, if you’re surrounded by love and compassion, it can’t help but rub off!

A pastor once told this in his sermon, talking about a work environment. He said “get out.” It so happened that I was in a very bad one at the time. It took awhile, but I did leave and was much better for it.

Good advice. We spend so much of our time at work. If it isn’t a positive, supportive environment, it spills into other areas of our lives.
